How Your Purchase Helps

better income today,

Expanded Development
for Tomorrow

Our origin story began in 2016 when Galana Coffee Company was formed to create a market for  Honduran micro coffee producers in the village of Cañada Galana, Olancho. That first year these producers sold 1700 lbs of coffee to Galana Coffee.

In 2022 a greater number of micro coffee producers from different areas in Olancho, Honduras have been able export their coffee to Galana Coffee Company due to the formation of a new coffee co-op called, Elevar.

Exporting via direct trade with Galana Coffee Company enables the producers to receive a sustainable price for their coffee based on what it costs to produce coffee rather than the on market price. Galana Coffee Company and the producers of Elevar have a personal relationship therefore, trust and transparency can exist. This trust and transparency creates sustainability and encourages coffee producers in Honduras to invest in the future of their farms and their communities.

All profits from Galana coffee sales go to expansion and improvement of coffee farming in Olancho, Honduras and to development in the farming communities.
